Landscape Oil Paintings - COLLECTION ONE
A series of oil paintings mainly based on the wild scenery of the moors. Painted on the unusual surface of cork, this helps to give me the texture of this rugged landscape with it’s wide valleys and ever changing sky. As the clouds pass over the colours and textures change from deep shadow to subtle shades which I hope come across in Valley Shadows or Valley Shelter. The one exception to the other moor paintings is Shore Edge, but the rocks of the shore allowed me to use the cork to show the colours and textures of the seaweed covered stones.
